Short toed Lark Photos





It was showing well all afternoon and evening even though the Skylark it was tagging along with occasionally turned on it! On the map X marks the spot. Cross the footbridge, follow the path between the dunes and the airfield. As you go over "the brow of the hill/dune" there is a large flat area in front/ to the left a bit. It was at the far end of the flat area by the wooden post (footpath sign) where the path rises out of the flat area. There were 100+ Wheatears, Gropper, 20 White Wags, 3 Gadwall, 10+ Whimbrel and a first summer Little Gull flew through.
