After a tip off from Tony about a probable hoodie i nipped down to Fagl Lane Quarry near Hope to check it out.
Saw the bird briefly in the week, but only from behind. Went back today to rule out a hybrid.
Definately not a hybrid and the bird showed well with the crow flock at the north end of the lake.
Also present, a single wheatear and a raven.
The dodgy Ross' Goose that has been doing the rounds was at Gresford Flash.
